It started small. At a Christmas party we got talking to a local café. It wanted its own app for its regulars.
A simple question that has stayed with us ever since: what does a business like this need to know its customers as well as the big players do?
We took a close look
We come from product development. So we studied the market, far beyond cafés: bakeries, restaurants and quick-service chains, specialist shops and stores, from a single location to chains with many branches. What do they use today, and what would really help them?
What the big players can do, local businesses deserve too
International chains have their own apps. They know their customers, reward loyalty and win them back with the right offer.
We felt the bakery around the corner, the café with three branches, the restaurant on the market square and the shop in the old town deserve the same. They are the ones who keep our towns alive.
